"It was the diabetes and high blood pressure for me."
I'm here to help.
I made sure to hit the gym today. Exercise really does improve your mood. I was not a believer, but I'm convinced. I wonder what about me changed. I used to hate going to the gym. The thought of working out made me cringe. Now, I look forward to my gym days. It's amazing. While … Continue reading Day 389: Recovery
Today felt amazing. There was some negativity brewing on the horizon at work, but it didn't ruin my whole day. Today, I managed to Take a walk before work Leave work early for a meeting Forget said meeting was cancelled and earn a free afternoon Work out for over an hour at the gym Come … Continue reading Day 387: Good day
I've been getting up earlier in the mornings. I like having the extra time to exercise and prepare for my day. Sometimes, yoga. Others, some type of meditation. The downside is: I'm ready for bed when the sun goes down. It's hard to accomplish anything once it gets dark. I'm slowly becoming a morning person. … Continue reading Day 378: Pre-Dawn
I'm too young to be feeling this worn out. My body is sore and tired. This is only from normal activities, in addition to some light exercise I've decided to incorporate. Exercise is freaking terrible, man. Why do people love it so? Why do people want to hurt like this?

Wasn't as sad about politics because I focused my attention on Beyoncé's pregnancy! (Psst. Did you see those pics? If not, … Continue reading Day 39: Small Victories
My body is in a constant state of soreness. I don't like being a ball of aches whenever I'm not on the mat. It makes working in an elementary school a little more painful. Exercise is a bitch and I love it and hate it. But I'm not stopping. Just have to learn new ways … Continue reading Day 17: Aches and Pains
I've been doing really well with staying constant with my yoga practice. Today, I'm taking a break. My core and thigh muscles are sore and moving around isn't easy. I might just work on my arms today. I'll still drink my gallon of water. It makes me pee every hour or so, but its a … Continue reading Day 14: Rest day
Well, I’ve become part of the annual rush to join a gym. There were lots of newbies there so I didn’t feel totally out of place. I found a Planet Fitness not far from my job. If I treat it as part of my work day, I’ll actually take my ass in there. Thirty minutes … Continue reading Day 13: Work it Out
