I know I might not seem like the type to even be at the nail shop, but it’s become a luxury that I allow myself. Having my nails done, smooth and shiny is one thing I am doing for myself. Call it self-care.
Now, that break is over, the stressors are back, and I can feel my nerves starting to fray again. That’s no good.
I had dreams, but they were too hard to achieve. It was easier to do nothing and feel sorry for myself.
"Everyone needs that safe person that they can allow themselves to be vulnerable with."
Make yourself a priority because no one else will. Your happiness and life satisfaction are your responsibility.
